For me, it’s the very first time to cut down the oranges by myself.

When my family arrived the orange orchard owned by my aunt and uncle’s family, we saw that on the oranges are white and seem like there is a kind of powder on them.

Everyone started to guess what’s the white thing on oranges, somebody even thought that is pesticide! But, how can we eat if there’s so much pesticide on them?

Asking, we finally knew that farmer use CaHCO3,which the farmers called it”the overdue SK2”, to protect oranges from the sun burning and keep them beautiful, so they can have a better price to sell them.

My uncle said that it’s better to choose those oranges are under the leaves, because with too much sun light, their fruit flesh will be too dry to eat, in the other hand, with just enough lights, oranges will bemore  juicy and delicious.

In the end, we had a lot of fresh oranges totake home to eat, and it’s a rare experience for us to have in our life.
