 I am not fond of outdoor activities, but this trip has totally changed my mind. I still remember clearly how unwilling I was when my dad decided to take a family trip in the morning that I bet everyone wanted to stick to the bed ten more minutes. The cool wind dispelled all my sleepiness, and the a beep from my watch seemed to remind us of starting this day trip.
  After few hours drive, we reached our destination. The fresh air lighted up my father. It’s hard to imagine the expression of excitement would be on his face, his smile infected everybody, even the birds started to sing, and the shadow of tress began to dance.
  Every steps followed ever laughter, every laughter showed every surprises. Lots of unknown trees and flowers widened our horizon. The spectacular of nature marvelled me with its amazing sounds of insects, brooks, planets. I felt lively surrounding by such these incredible active creatures. I was eager to hunt more, by the reason of this, I went and stood on a higher position to see the whole view. I have to say, I couldn’t describe how I felt at that fantastic moment with words, it was almost a masterpiece which was made by God.
  After that, we had a great dinner time in a nice restaurant.I was impressive by it’s delicious cuisine. And I enjoyed this trip a lot.

This winter vacation we went to Taitong, and had lots of lots of fun there. We rode bike there, and what’s even crazier, we rode bike while it was raining!! When you were passing by the scenery, the rain dropped on your face and made you feel freezing. But yet, it was still a pleasant journey. After biking, we went to our hotel for some rest. There’s nothing better to relax yourself than soaking into hot spring, so we went for hot spring right away. The hot spring there is special. Usually hotels will have only one kind of hot spring, but instead, they had different kinds of hot spring which ranged from red-color to purple-color. At night, we went up to the roof to see stars. Under those sparkling and dazzling stars, we all call it a night.

Last summer , I participated a basketball game . At the beginning , a friend of mine asked me if I could join their team , but I didn’t think my ability can help them win the game , so I hesitated to take part in it . Since my friend encouraged me a lot , I thought maybe I could give it a shot , so I decided to join them .
On the day which the game kicked off .Although the strong sunshine and high temperature almost sucked all the water on earth , it still couldn’t kill our passion . when the referee called our team’s name , my heart beat quickly . I told myself “Don’t be afraid! Keep going !”so I dispelled the cowardliness and did my best in the game.When the game was over . I saw our result, we are win ! I am very happy . but it isn’t the end . because we advanced , we needed to play next game . But we are very tired , so we lose the game . and then we played five games , and in the end . We got the third place . Although we hoped to win the first place in the first time, but I thought it was ok , Maybe we can join the game next year,and we can win next time .

I believe I have mentioned my family trip in winter vacation already. The photo was taken when we just arrived at Tatung. In the photo, I stood by a cliff, pointing to a harbor. But it was more than an usual harbor, it was also a naval port! Don’t be shock, I didn’t believe this beautiful, peaceful harbor was a naval port at first time either until my dad told me this unbelievable information. Furthermore, according to my father, even submarines came in and stopped in this port! Sadly we couldn’t see that from the surface of the quiet, windless Pacific Ocean. After taking some photos, due to my curiosity, I asked my dad for this harbor’s name. Believe it or not, it was a familiar name I’ve seen on textbooks many times-----Suao Harbor(蘇澳港).

     I had joined the biology camp held by school’s cooperation with China Medical University this winter vacation.I have a great interest in biology,and it’s a very special chance for us to go to the university’s laboratory to have a experiment.The camp kept for three days,one day for class,one day for experiment and another was a speech day.This course is progressed with a distinctive teaching method called “PBL” short for “Problem Based Learning” is common for medical school students.We were divided into five team,and the teacher was just play a short video about our class topic,then we have ten minutes as our team time to discuss the problem or something that we didn’t know but appear in the video,and we wanted to learn more.Afterward,every team needs to have a short talk about the subject.The class like this is very interesting also good time to exercise our brain.And I think that is unable to be a sleepy class to anyone.
 
This winter vacation I went to Miaoli(苗栗).Although I have been there several times before, but it’s the first time I recognize Miaoli is a beautiful place.I went to the Nan Zhuang village(南庄) where famous for it’s Osmanthus products.It’s a Hakka village that means there are delicacies everywhere.On my way home,our car pass a field,and on the clay was filled with sunflowers.I have to say that is an amazing scenery.

My winter vacation          
This winter vacation I had done many extremely interesting things, such as playing music and exercising. Although the vacation was not too long, I still enjoyed it and took a rest on the middle of the two semesters.
What struck me most about the things I had done on my vacation was I had my first visit to the National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial hall. The weather there was not  good, it was humid and the temperature was below 10 degree Celsius.

This winter vacation I finally visited a place where I was curious about and wanted to explore for a while. Near the end of the vacation, my father took my sisters and I to an big and old house ,where my ancestors lived a long time ago, is composed of three-section compound. We knew much more about the place that our ancestors grew up and how people lived before ,but the place is too large that we didn’t have enough time to search everywhere.
 
There I learned a lot of things that I have never known before this visit. One of elder relatives told us many stories about our family ,and showed some cool things we seldom see nowadays. We also learned of that the Chen clan came from Fujian Province a long time ago from a horizontal inscribed board.

What makes me proud in my winter vacation
there is nothing 「tooo」special in my vacation,.I ate and slept,you know,just a normal person doing something suuper normal. While,I still do do something special.
